But what is the definition of property and what is the definition of real estate, in some dictionaries they are defined as:

For the purposes of this website we will be using the terms to mean "land or real estate" and "property in the form of houses or land", and the purpose of this website is to help anybody who has an interest in property or real estate. Whether that is simply somebody looking for information or somebody looking to buy a property or indeed to sell a property. We will try to look at the differences in certain markets, such as the UK property market and the property market abroad.

At the time of starting this website(end of 2008) the property market still seems to be in freefall at home and abroad, so there will be many who will be looking for advice on lending or mortgages, what to do in a financial crisis etc. Unfortunately we may not be able to help directly but hopefully some of the pages in the website will give you the knowledge or tools to help in whichever direction you want to go. Buying property abroad isn't necessarrily the nightmare that some are reporting. In fact some would say that there has never been a better time to buy a property abroad or at home, why? you ask, well consider the situation as it stands, the market is flooded with properties for sale that aren't selling and that is called a buyer's market.
