The property market is always in flux and consists of many factors including house prices, amount of houses on the market, amount of houses sold in a month or quarter, how long properties are on the market before they achieve a sale etc.etc. when it comes to house prices the values can drop significanlty over a short period of time, 2008 is a prime example, but prices tend to follow a generally upward trend over the long term. Confidence in the future and financial security is a key driver in the property market.
