Selling a Property

You will need to advertise your property for sale in some way, the most common route to the property market is through an estate agent. An estate agent will use various forms of advertising including newspaper adverts, magazine advertising, specialist publications, internet, property portals and a board actually outside the property or real estate for people in the area to see who may be looking for a property.

You will also need somebody to do the conveyancing of your property for sale, this could either be a solicitor which is the norm or a specialist property conveyancing company.

Selling a property in the UK now includes an EPC or Energy Performance Certificate, this has become mandatory for properties in the UK.
